What dead air should have done is just make it clear that the keymicro hub is just a thread variant like omega / Charlie / saker / bravo etc. For instance, almost all of my rifles currently have Dead Air muzzle devices on them because of my Sandman-S. The only difference between the hubs are which suppressors they can thread into. The main reason in my opinion would be backwards compatibility with existing mounting systems. The interface (“thread”) between the muzzle devices and both hubs are identical. that is also true of key micro HUB, as ANY keymo muzzle device will work.
